Family Holiday Rental in the Tarn, Midi-Pyrenees, South West France - Location

La Maison des Amis is located 1.5km from the beautiful escarpment town of Giroussens, in the heart of the Tarn region of the Midi-Pyrenees, South West France.

Giroussens itself is situated between the rivers Agout and Tarn, only 30 minutes from the heart of one of France's most vibrant cities, Toulouse, and only 30 minutes in the opposite direction to the stunning Albi.

There is an array of stunning french towns to visit within a stones throw, not least of which are Carcassonne, Castres, Gaillac, Lavaur, Lautrec, and Lisle-sur-Tarn.

For skiing and the beach, both the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean can be reached by car in 90 minutes to 2 hours. Totally do-able for a day trip (we do it ourselves, especially the ski trips) but best if you want a beach or ski holiday to go direct.
